Dancing is the theme of the Tea Party this week and our Thank You cards are going to the Sketch Challenge Hostess with the Mostest-Roxie!
I went with a musical button theme and called it Doin' the Button Bounce because that is what happens to me when I try to thread those buttons-had to get one or two off the floor.
Base is blue Bazzill and I used the Cuttlebug Button embossing folder along the edge and then scored the edge. Used the Sizzix Buttons #5 die for my buttons threaded with brown thread. Circles were punched from GP White and a Papertrey downloadable music paper, buttons were glued on and the circles were put on with SU Dimensionals. The sentiment is from the SU Riveting set stamped with Stazon Saddle Brown ink. I Punched it out and glued on a brown circle, then popped the sentiment up. Added a brown cs strip and some brown and white twine.

Nice card. Love that embossed button border. I know that button bounce dance though it is more like bouncing brads in my corner. I can't tell you the number of times I have dropped a brad or eyelet, couldn't find it & then several days later stepped on it & found it embedded in my foot. Tfs.

The big buttons kind of look like colorful record albums (remember those?). Fun card. (I usually end up doing the button crawl, trying to find out where they rolled off to)

Bev this is one cute card!! Those buttons look like the old 45 records we used to have.
