My CAS88 "Crinkled" card I made for my next SU Hostess Club Party project. I like the idea that this CAS could be used for any occasion and in many color combo's. I really like how River Rock goes so well with Early Espresso and V Vanilla. I think it is an elegant look. My card also is perfect for notimetostamp's ....ssnotime160 challenge to use nature in a card.
Besides the Crinkled looking textured background I used the watercolor spritzing technique. Just ink your image "leaf" and spritz with alcohol or water then stamp onto "watercolor" paper to get the ink to spread. Then reink your image "leaf" without spritzing and then stamp, which gives more detail to your image. I used my stampamajig to make sure it turned out perfectly.
Did you notice the shadow effect behind the leaf? That was made by inking my "C" Clear Mount Block...cool, huh?!? I got this idea from our SU Demo magazine. It is fun and never turns out the same. The little tag is punched out from the new 3/4" oval punch in the Holiday Mini.
A really fun and easy card with tons of possibilities. Enjoy and TFL.......
