Our Teapot Challenge this week couldn't have touched my heart more. We're supposed to bring birds to the party - you can catch the whole story here - and our inspiration is the cutest little bluebird teapot. I've chosen to use this stamp which represents the five little bluebird chicks in our nest box who have just lost their mother and have a father, Mr. Blue we call him, who is very faithfully trying to keep up his duties as well as the mother's. Hopefully they will all grow up to be strong little birds like these on my branch today.
PS - Happy Birthday Lynda's mom!

Dad to the rescue, isn't nature amazing. I'll bet Dad's getting some help guarding the wee things while he's away hunting. A beautiful with a great story of it's own.

Whatever you do! Don't hook up with Joan Ervin at the teaparty and let her talk you into teaching your baby blues how to fly....Joan is headed to California in a Baby Plane and there is some talk about whether or not she is even going the right direction!!! Isn't California on the way to New York? Yah, that's what I thought....If you need some how to fly birdie lessons for your wee ones, I can probably hook you up with Spock, the Hawk......he might not look so smart, but he is!
Wow, what a card...what a perfect image.....its fun its so close to your heart. We LET a couple of birdies build a nest right above our front door (we will probably regret it) but didn't have the heart to tear the nest down after they worked so hard to get it up......they are not hatched yet, but I think they are getting close! Mom is wacko!!!! Awesome, awesome card Lorraine!!!

I was sure we'd see some lovely bluebirds from you. And I am sure we all hope with you that your little chicks will grow into birds like the ones on this so sweet card. I like the way the ribbon sort of continues from the ends of the branch, and the daisy paper is just so pretty.

Lorraine, I love your little group of bluebirds, and hope that Mr. can complete his job until those babies can fly. What a story all its own!
