i made this for the F4A4 challenge to either make a 3-D basket or use a basket stamp on your card and use Perfect Plum, Barely Banana and Certainly Celery; i had to guess at the colours since i don't have those.
this is a clean and simple card that took a couple of hours to make, but i was determined.
i wove the basket with paper strips and added shredded mulberry paper. i placed the bunny and purple striped egg stickers on white card stock and cut out. i traced the egg shape and cut the yellow egg out of card stock, sponged the die cut tag and hand printed the sentiment. everything is popped up on foam tape. thanks for looking.

Absolutely adorable card!! It looks like a great CAS card, but I know weaving all those little pieces of paper is NOT simple! That basket is GREAT! Then you filled it with 3-D "grass" and cute images! LOVE it! Into the FAVS.

Linda, this is absolutely terrific!! So creative. I just love the handwoven basket you made for this card--and the way you filled it (even with Easter grass!) is wonderful!! You know, for me, I've found that it doesn't really matter if I'm making a CAS card or a many-layered card--they often take about the same amount of time!!! Why is that?!?
Sometimes I get so frustrated by how much time I've spent on making a card, but then I remember how satisfying it was to just be *creating* something I'm proud of. And I also find that when I'm making a card, I get side-tracked by trying out different papers or colors and different ways of arranging things. It takes time, but it's also I'm always learning and discovering something, so it's all good
Anyway, I'm glad you stuck with it--this is a wonderful and very special card. It's recipient will be enchanted!!! Way to go on this fun basket challenge, Linda!!!
