What a fun challenge today, using birds on our cards. I might have gotten carried away a little.......details.....
I did a rough sketch of my scene this morning, took it with me so I could tweak it as the day went on. Got home and put my scene to cs using Rubbernecker Stamps.
I first stamped the close line clear eb'ing. Put some frisket on one of the post, then stamped the neighbor hood, twice clear ep it too.
Used my stamp a ma jig to stamp the birdies on the line, clear ep. Houses, birdies, post were colored with copic markers.
The grass was w/c with re-inkers, the clouds were sponged using a stencil I made awhile back and the ground was sponged dabbing with a wet brush after. Set this aside to go find some black cs.
When I returned, one of the birdies had gotten into my shredder and took some of the shredded paper and made a nest on my card! Go figure. So, after layering my scene with the now found black cs, I put it on a brown square card then popped up the nest making bird. hehe
Well hope you like my little birdie scene......TFL :0)

Love your birdie scene. Awesome images! Great clouds. Love the bird nest in lower corner- even if it is made with 'pinched' materials! Looks like a very happy street with all those colorful houses. No wonder the birds hang out there! Hmmm, is there a house for sale I wonder. Maybe up the street? as I don't see any for-sale signs. Just enquiring is all.....Probably not 'cheep' enough for me anyway! Sorry, couldn't resist!!! TFS. : )
