Howdy again, I'm back doing the weekly Midnight Madness sketch. I changed it up a bit and used the sketch for a new baby card. The daughter of my dear friend that passed away last January just had a baby boy. Thought I'd send this to them to welcome baby Jack into the world!!
Check out the Midnight Madness sketches. They are awesome, stretch your borders and there's lots of prizes to be had. Now, what could be better than that???
.I used the Delicate Dots dsp (SU) for the patterned papers and the SU Baby Time Wheel Stamp for all the baby images.
.I punched out the babies for each of the 8 squares, colored them, added some diamond stickles and crystal effects. I added some baby diapers I had in my baby scrapbook stash which already had the gold safety pins. How great is that?
.I found a great blue baby bottle ribbon in my stash and I added just a little blue bling even though it's a boy!! Couldn't resist.
.I popped up the first layer and the image panel on dimensionals.
I paper pieced the stroller and popped it up on dimensionals with the baby's head just barely sticking out.
I think that's about it. Thanks so much for taking the time to visit and let me know what you think if you have a chance!

Well thank heavens this isnt another one of those christmas cards you've been making and uploading since June 2008! What a sweet sweet baby card, Fruitcake. Love all the squares and darling things that make up those squares. How special to send your best friend's daughter a baby card. She would be so proud and happy with your kindness.

This is just too cute Pam! The images and the little nappies (another British word for you!) are just adorable! It must be a very emotional time for your friend's daughter. So thoughtful of you to send the card.

Oh Pam, this is such a darling and pretty card that it should be framed and hung in that baby's room. So sweet of you to think of your friends daughter. You are so kind and caring. Thanks for playing along with us at Midnight Madness this week.
Hugs,
Carol
