I have been waiting for a challenge like this...I do most of my journalling/sentiments with my computer.
I make these birthday book cards for the special birthdays of my family and friends. They are a momento of what happened the year they were born. This one is for my BIL's 40th, and it fits with today's challenge.
The card is 5x7, and has 5 double-sided pages organized into cover, economy, politics, science and technology, popular music, tv shows, top movies, celebrities born this year, and astrology predictions/personality traits.
I found all the info on the net and compiled it into point form. It's alot of work but I think it's really worth it. The card IS the gift.
The numbers on the front are cut with my cricut, the pages are inked and layered. I think I'm over on the embellie count, but the eyelets and twine are binding the book together so I'm only counting them as one, buttons as 2 ???
EEK! I guess I did use a stamp to make the swirlies on the edges of the pages, can I call it distressing?hee hee (And to think I didn't even own an ink pad a year ago!)
I hope this fits with dawnmercedes challenge today, it's mostly done on my computer!
TFL!
