I missed the Inspiration Challenge yesterday because I got to stamp all day with YLM, jaydekay and Princessheather. We even had Anne Ryan there in spirit. How fun is that?!!!
Well, my week is not complete without playing in the Inspiration Challenge, so here is my late entry. Fabulous website, as usual, Stef! I was inspired by many images, but I settled on the Sunflower Mural here: http://designdazzle.com/pages/MuralsFlowers68.htm. It came complete with bees to totally warrant using an adorable image that YLM let me stamp off from her vast collection yesterday. No ladybugs in the image, so I colored the little bee shoes and gloves red instead! With red feet and hands, they can't possibly be too realistic for Sabrina's taste!
Thank you YLM for the images! I mistakenly thought got them from elsewhere, my bad!
Hunted high and low for the red gingham dp that goes with the yellow version to no avail. So I stamped the red in CTMH Country Picnic. The bee wings are highlighted with Stickles, which didn't show up in the photo despite our sunny day today!
The flower is a disassembled silk flower. I covered the center with yellow flock and dotted it with a gel pen.
Thanks so much for the image, Cindy. It doesn't even come close to one of your cards, but it sure was fun to make.
And thank you for looking! Have a wonderful rest of the week everyone!

LOL, no - they're not too realistic at all. In fact, they remind me enormously of a little wooden mobile I used to have in my home office before we moved. You must have had a fun-filled wonderful day on Saturday, but I'm glad you still found time yesterday to make this, and brighten a dull grey morning here. It even looks quite bright in your photo ;).
Have a good week.
