Good morning! I have lots things to do today, so I decided to make a quick and simple card for todays color challenge. We were to use bashful blue, saffron, and close to cocoa.
Here is my short story:
I stamped the flower pot with cocoa ink onto vanilla c/s. Cut out. Tied a ribbon to the pot. I stamped the flowers and stems with black ink. I colored them using prismacolor pencils, mineral spirits, and blending stumps. I stamped the flowers again, colored, and cut out to mount make them pop out. Adhered with foam tape. The flower pot is also attached using foam tape. You can't really see in the picture, but there are 2 scored lines on the sides on the vanilla c/s. I also stamped the sentiment with black ink. Then mounted onto cocoa c/s as the base. This was really quick and I hope it makes the challenge. If I get time later this morning, I'll make something else. Thanks for looking and have a wonderful day.
What do you think?
