Perk sent me some adorable snowman images, and I left them in a spot that was easily accessable for this week's challenge. But, easily accessable to me also meant easily accessable to my little guy, who claimed them for himself! It's not the first time he's done this, and they always turn up, but they didn't turn up in time for the challenge today!
So, now where are all my snowman stamps? They aren't under the bed, or in the closet, and then I remembered that a friend had borrowed them to make some coasters! AAAh!
It was too late to cry "SEND SNOWMEN SISTAHS!!"
Anyway, I had the snowman wheel out to do the Christmas Card Challenge for January, and here is the card by jeweleintn that inspired it! Cotton Snow by jeweleintn at Splitcoaststampers
I made a few changes to my card to make it qualify (sort of) for the TSC!
There are snowmen (and snowwomen!), there's embossing, and snowflakes!
Perk, thanks so much for the adorable images that I didn't get to use today, but I promise they will turn up!!!
Thanks for the great challenge today, and thanks for looking everyone!

So cute Darla, and if you need me to send you more snowman images...just give me a yell. Sometimes Chris just takes them and starts coloring some of my images too!

Well, your card turned out very cute! Way to go with the limited supply challenge at the Ryan house. You need a hot cup of tea! I hope your little guy takes a nap for you! Ha Ha!

Now this is precious indeed! I guess I better order that wheel .....gotta have it. The snowflake accent on the flower is perfect.

I soooo feel your pain sistah. I am still unpacking boxes from my move. It takes me longer to find stuff than to stamp it. Cole takes my images and uses my good markers. Ugh. But I am glad he likes to stamp too. I have to half bite my tongue off. Great job. I really like the way you wheeled the snowmen. Looks great.

Okay, Darla Ryan, with a story like that, I'll have to cut you some slack! Sorry to hear about Clay. Despite all the never ending challenges you're facing at home, I see you've stepped up to the plate in grand style, girl. This is just fabulous! Love that wheel. Love the whole card, actually.
