I was so excited to see what I could come up with for this challenge, as I had no charms on hand.
Here's what I did:
-The Big Circle Frame was made using a 3" square piece of CS punched once w/the Round Tab Punch, then turned, realigned, and punched with it again.
The "Charm" was made from Build-A-Brad.
-I used my pliers from Crafter's Tool Kit to open & flatten the tabs.
-Next, I used my Craft & Rubber scissors to snip off one tab.
-Then, using the pliers again, I rolled the other tab to form a loop I could use to hang the "charm" on ribbon.
-Continue building the brad as usual, and you have a custom-made charm!
This idea worked great for making a charm, but wasn't my own invention originally. I'm not sure where it originated, but I got the know-how from a dear friend and genius stamper who used a similair technique to make Build-A-Brads into a bracelet!
