WT581 - We are putting toys on our cards today. My all time favorite toy is a teddy bear. They sure bring comfort to so many and I could not imagine my world without them. We hope you come join us: Playing Safe
This image is so sweet. I love giving my nieces and nephews bears and I have my grandma's bear, my DH's bear and my bear. All very important to me.
I colored this image 3 times with copics, and cut out certain parts to layer. A black pen was used to outline the parts that were cut. Then dimensionals were used to layer different parts in 3 different heights in the layering on the image. Stamped the stars and added the fun layers and the Happy Birthday sentiment.
The bottom blue and gingham were die cut with spellbinders die cut.
Thank you for looking!

So, so cute! That little boy is adorable. You have coloured him so perfectly. Just look at his hair..........I always have trouble with hair. I love the gingham paper with the wonderful curved edge. Love those stars too.

The gingham and stars are wonderful finishing touches so perfectly in keeping with your little sweetie and his beloved bear.
I have a bear that I got before I can remember, from my great-aunts in Canada. And then I suppose a year and a half later, they sent one to my brother for his birthday. I don't remember this either, but apparently I took his nice new one and thrust my already rather worn one at him in exchange ;-). At the time obviously I was made to give it back, but in later years his one did end up with me by default, until I passed it on to one of his kids. Somehow it still looks almost brand new compared to mine!!

Absolutely Darling card! Love your image, colors and coloring! How awesome to be able to have your grandmothers bear, wish I had mine :( Not sure if she had one back in the early 1900's but how neat that would be! I'm sure you will treasure it for many years to come! Maybe even add it to a shadow box, with some other little trinkets and a photo of your dear grandma, how fun that would be!
