DH spent a happy afternoon recycling old calendars into new envelopes - problem is that they are not all standard sized. But he requested a card to fit this envelope to send as a thank-you for a Christmas gift. Since he sings and plays guitar, and the gift was guitar-related, I used this stamp. It's simply stamped on watercolour paper and coloured with pencils, added the sentiment, and then embossed a scrap of foil-covered card left on my desk from Faux Tin Tiles to tie in with the music theme.

Wonderful combination of elements on this! The sentiment is perfect with this fun image and the note-embossed foil edge is a great touch.
Very pretty envelope as well. What a good idea for old calendars!

Your card is just adorable, Sabrina!! I love the little critter stamp and your use of tin foil. Very striking! The envelope is gorgeous as well. What a great idea to recycle calendar pictures into envelopes. I need to try that. You and your DH are very creative!

Sabrina, this card is sure to make someone smile really BIG!! Your hedgie singing his heart out surely strikes a chord in DH's heart and the scrap of foil embossed with music was a great addition to size the card.
PS - love his idea to repurpose old calendar pages into envelopes!!!
