Hygienists don't get benifits, so it is a good thing that my office only closes for Christmas and New Years days. Unfortunately, that does not leave a lot of crafting time, so this was a quick card that I really did not plan to make. I wanted to try a technique that I did not have the right ef or stamps for. I have only seen this technique with the aspen tree ef....with the thousand and one folders I have, not one is a tree. All of mine are patterns, so I just grabbed this frame ef. First you sponge background colors onto the negative side of the folder. Then you stamp your image onto the same side of the ef. Put your card stock in the ef and run it through the Big Shot. My tiny snowman is stamped and fussy cut. TFL, Francie

Wow, Francie -you've given that ef such amazing dimension that at first I thought it was a die-cut. So it may not have been the ideal folder for that technique but it looks totally wonderful, fantastic and beautiful. And some of the trees have disappeared behind the swirls, so it certainly worked for the technique, too.

I LOVE this! How fun it is. You have the coolest images, Francie and I just love that sky with the rainbow colors blended so beautifully! The swirly die cut reminds me of the winds howling! Awesome card!

This is really cool with this eb folder. It looks like a delicate die cut. Thanks for sharing this technique using different folders. You have many of us thinking....we need to see what ones will work. Merry Christmas to you and your family. Enjoy the little time you have off.
