stacy, in her Christmas card challenge, asked us to make a Christmas card reminiscent of a typical card according to where we live. since we don't get any snow in NC, I decided to add hale in the form of liquid applique. We don't get snow, but we sure do get rain and hail.

Anne, what a beautiful background you've made with the Brushos! Wow, it's gorgeous, and I love that you added hail! Oh my, I didn't realize you get so much around Christmas. Beautiful Southern Christmas card, sweet friend! Hugs!

This is beautiful, Anne! I'm not sure where in North Carolina you live, but my daughter used to live near Cary. She sent me some photos of a winter in which you couldn't see her car for the snow. Granted, she had a little Miata, but still . . . .

Cute card Anne, sweet scene.... Love your hail.... We've gotten some bad hail in upstate NY before, but it always amazes me how big hail gets when we see it on the news... I've seen the damage it can cause, but I'd rather not see that big of hail "ever" .... Thank you for mentioning my card in your favorites this week... You are a doll... Hugs

I think your little bird and deer are asking what the heck is going on! :-) Love your rich dark background contrasting with that hail. I like the way you did the sentiment vertically on the side like that. Very clever!
