This card was a lot of fun to make for both the Color challenge and the sketch challenge! First I did the POLISHED STONE TECHNIQUE on my glossy cardstock with Razleberry. and Pear Pizzazz reinkers on alcohol soaked cotton balls, and put aside to dry while I assembled the other layers of my card. Punched the flowers out with my Petite petals punch, and added some color with my markers, and colored my image. Next I put my card together, and added the pearls to the flower centers. Just getting the right combinations for my layers took more time than making the card!
Thanks for coming by to take a peek at my card - it is so appreciated!

Love the background - it turned out great! I really like the design on this, and the image is awesome. Wonderful sentiment, too, and such a fun card!

Wow Greenie, this is brilliant. I love how you did the polished stone technique, it is so delicate, then you combined it with a hoot of an image. How terrific!! This is such a clever and fun take on the challenges my friend.

Your central image is very sweet, but I am much impressed by the background and the flowers! The polished stone background turned out great--I really need to get back to that one! And the flowers--I thought they were purchased! Adding details with your markers makes such a difference! Another great idea. Wonderful card!
