I was working on this card for a challenge on PTI to celebrate their 8th anniversary, when I happened to see the WT for today....music.... and my card fit this challenge too. For the PTI challenge, I chose sketch #7 and color palette #1. The flower was done on watercolor paper with reinkers and an aqua brush, then cut out.

Your beautifully colored rose looks so wonderful on the black background! The white embossed musical score is a fantastic backdrop without being distracting. Your designs are amazing Sallie!

I really love black cards, and it love this one! The rose looks gorgeous against the black, and the white embossed music score looks fabulous covering just a portion of the card front. Beautiful card, Sallie!
