I just had to make another card for the CT1114 warm and welcoming theme. It is sort of odd that I equate "warm and welcoming" with snowmen, however, I usually think about the most famous snowman I know...Frosty. It doesn't get more warm and welcoming than that. We were also supposed to use the letters from the word "glow" for inspiration. "G" = gold accents...there are a lot on this card. "L" is for the lavender cardstock bkg. "O" is for the orange nose. I used a stamping "wheel" for the "W". This is also for the Mix97 to us little scrap squares. The origipnal card that I made this bkg paper for was this one MIX63 Pocket full of butterflies by f.schles at Splitcoaststampers that is very "Spring" and has nothing to do with snow. I spreyed dylusion spreys and deepened the colors with TH distress inks sponged on top. Then I heat embossed the white snow flurries. To make the squares more mixed media, I doodles some circlesand added little gold stickle dots. Colored the snowman with copics and fussy cut. Hopefully, this is my last holiday card.TFL, Francie

Wow, I love the prints you designed for this as well as the beautiful way you colored that cute snowman! I love that he is peeking over your panels too! Your card is so fun and festive and the design does remind me of snow flurries!

This guy certainly is Merry and Bright...he brings a smile to my face! Beautiful colors on this card and such a beautiful handmade background with the gold accents. Last holiday card? Lucky you..I haven't even started my Christmas cards and have to make Christmas card kits for my teachers Christmas party. As usual I am woefully behind! Love this wonderful card. Well done!
