I recently took an online class by Donna Downey . Check it out. I can't believe she did her painting using her fingers! Amazing!
SO today, since our cards needed a flower on them and I needed some major de-stressing I proceeded to give her technique a try only on a much smaller scale....details...
Before work I hunted down some sticky backed canvas I bought awhile ago, cut it to size, and then gessoed it. Got home and tried my hand at the finger painting. So glad I started with a small version until I get this figured out! hehe Wouldn't want a great big mess!
Well don't be too hard on me, remember this is my first attempt at "real" finger painting.....TFL :0)

What a wonderful work of art, Mut! This should be framed and hung on display at your BEST museum. I cannot believe that you achieved this by finger painting .... well, I do because you said so, but who'd of thunk! Outstanding. And I love the canvas on the card. I only have used the sticky back canvas in small portions on cards. Me thinks I've been inspired to be a little more adventurous! TFS

What an artistic beauty. It has such beautiful bright colors. I love the bleeding on the flower edges and the slight touches of built up paint.
The perfect font for your expression and style.
Keep up the technique you seem to be very good at it!
