Fun challenge! Since I made punched polka dots yesterday, I went a different direction today. Not entirely sure I like it, but there you go.
The images are from Our Daily Bread designs. I made my own polka dots by using a strip called "sequin waste" I bought ages ago and sponged the ink thru it. The flowers were stamped in black on top and I used bleach to remove the color from the flowers.
The sentiment was rearranged a bit to fit the die cut then I added some liquid pearls around it. A little stickles was added to the flower centers and I used Copic markers to add some color to the white Candi buttons in the lower right. The finished card is 4.25 x 5.50.
Thanks so much for looking! My blog:The Write Stuff. Sorry! I had to delete a bunch of really old posts from my blog & this is one of them.

Your background looks FABULOUS, Julie...WOW!!!! Leaving the stamped image uncolored and then adding the colored polka dots gives this such a beautiful, artsy look...I just looove it!!!

Now this little baby is definitely going into the faves folder. Love everything about it - the coloring, the layers in the middle, those fab polka dots. I have GOT to get me some of that "waste." And learn how to bleach stamped images, too. Simply gorgeous, Julie.

Julie, I remember that kind of "sequin waste" ribbon! What a great way to use it....as a stencil. Love the colors you chose to sponge and the pretty design you stamped on it. A beautiful card.
