I was asked to make a very special card for a little girl who is turning 8 next week, This is the image that was picked out, and I was asked to do it in Pink & Purple.....
This is what turned out.
Its an easel card..and I love how it turned out, alot of extra stuff was put on......no holding back....
The pearls all around the circle were liquid pearls.....and the pearls on the top and bottom were from Michaels, the Happy Birthday circle is from SU, and the cupcake is from the dollar store.
Don't look too close I still haven't master Copic colouring...sometimes I do well...and other times....well...
Recipe:
Stamp Set: Tilda
Paper: SU Blushing Bride, Blush, Pretty in Pink, DSP, Copic Xpress it,
Ink: Copics, SU Pretty in Pink,
Accessories: Spellbinders Circle Dies, & Fancy Rectangles, MS Leaf, flower , & Butterfly Punches, Liquids Pearls, Half Pearls, & Fancy Pearls, Glue & Glitter for the 8, Lace, flowers, cupcake & Birthday sign from Dollar Store, Foam Tape, Liquid Glue, & Lots of Love!
This was a very fun card to make....I finally had to quit putting stuff on...I was running out of room, and I hope the little girl likes her card!

Sister Jan! No holding back indeed! The liquid pearls are delish, and boy, are you patient. Every lil detail is so defined, like the little square panel underneath, the distressing and that image is precious! Perfectly colored. I struggle with copics myself (it is torturous, eh?) But you have done a most lovely job for this lil sweetie and she will squeal with delight! Lymi, hugs...

So sweet, Jan, - boy oh boy, Sis, you are really using all your resources when you do a special card like this - the nesties, and lace, punches, flowers and pearls!! This Tilda is adorably colored in the pink and purple and I cannot get over how uniform every liquid pearl is - you are SO GOOD at this!! And oh, yes, I can even see all the LOVE you tucked in, oozing out of every corner!! I think you put more love into your cards than anything else!! Hugs!
LYMI!!
