Tall cards are so much fun to make! I'm really pleased with how this one turned out. This will be my DH's Valentine, and I can't believe it's done way ahead of time!
A little hard to see in the photo, but Houndstooth is stamped in Real Red on the bottom part that is outlined with the faux blanket stitch.
I dedicate this card in memory of White Gel Pen #1 who, after several months of being heartily used, passed on during the creation of this card.

I love these tall cards too but haven't tried one yet, so maybe your card will be my inspiration! I love the blanket stitch and I think it makes the card look like it's made of felt--warm and fuzzy!

I love this card! And no, I can't see the houndstooth, but I can imagine it, and it's FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!

This is a very neat and crisp card! I love it! I may have to break down and get the Signo white gel pen. All my other ones (different brands) dry out before I'm even done with one dot, line, or letter. TFS!
