I wanted to participate in Ways to Use It Challenge 99, which is to use Glorious Green -- a very distinct color that's harder to use than you might initially think. With St. Patrick's Day coming up, I thought about using the Good Luck w/shamrock 1$ stamp I bought last week at Michael's. But that's a pretty small stamp, and would be hard to build an entire card around. I'd been wanting to make a card for my friend, Heather, too. She's studying to take the Bar exam to get her law license at the end of the month, and as I know from experience, that's a miserable thing to do. I bought Frizzybella because she looks EXACTLY like Heather, so then I had the brilliant idea to combine both stamps I wanted to use to make Heather a Good Luck on the Bar card. (Am I rambling? My DH says I do that when I leave messages on answering machines...)
Anyway, today's Limited Supply Challenge is to make a tag that's not originally a tag, so that's how the Good Luck stamp got used, and I liked the sketch from this week's sketch challenge, so I used that, too. In short, this card is a challenge trifecta!
Now, if you're interested, for card specifics: the dp (so hard to find any to match GG!) is SEI Doodley Doo Boy, the four leaf clover at the bottom right is cut from a Prima flower and fastened with a brad, the ribbon ring is by Spare Parts and the jump ring that connects the tag to the ribbon ring is a Junkitz Ringz. Ribbon is from Starlit Studio's online store (LOVE that store!!). The purses and shamrock have Stickles on them to make them sparkle.
Sorry this explanation is so stinkin' long. Guess I'm feeling a little longwinded tonight!

What an adorable card and a great job on a multi-challenge!!! This is really cute -- just love it!!! I had to laugh at your ramblings and long-windedness -- I have that exact same problem -- both on answering machines and when I let my fingers do the talking on the keyboard!!! LOL!!! Fun to read what people are thinking when they make their cards!!! TFS!!!
