This was my swap card for the second Southwest Idaho Shoebox Swap - aka SWISS, earlier today.
I created the speckles by tapping and flicking a waterbrush that I had already loaded with ink. You can't see it in the photo, but the outline of the snowflakes, the scalloped border stamp, and the speckles are all shimmery, because of the Brilliance Pearlescent Sky Blue inkpad I used. I cut just below the scalloped border stamp, and the patterned paper is on the inside of the card. Lastly, I filled in the snowflakes with Liquid Pearls (sold in a bottle like Stickles, also made by Ranger).

Mmmm, I love the light blue with white and pearl! I got this snowflake stamp last year after the holidays and have been trying to think how to use it, thanks for the inspiration!

Beautiful. I actually feel colder when I look at it!
