The flower is colored using the Technique Junkie technique of Washi Paper Piecing. The paper for the flower was a piece that had roses all over it and the leaves were from paper that looked like green marble. It looks like it was planned that way but the off color brads were only because I didn't have four pinks ones left but it worked out best with two black and two pink.

What a fantastic card! The colors are so pretty and I especially like the two different colored brads. Isn't it fun how improvising can make it even better?
