I think this technique is called debossing.
First, I punched out three square of cardboard-like cs w/ my largest square punch. Then I pressed them into Versamark and covered w/ white UTEE (ultra thick embossing enamel) and heated. I had to wait for it to cool, press into Versamark again, cover w/ UTEE again and heat again. Repeated process once more, and while it was still hot, pressed snowflake, already inked with blue Stazon, into UTEE. It kinda smooshed over the edges, but once it was cool I cut the overflow off with scissors. I did this for all 3 squares.
The light blue piece of paper is crimped on the edge. To place the eyelets, I laid down the s clips and marked a pencil dot in the center, punched a hole at the dots, then set the eyelets. Lastly, I glued on the s clips with Crystal Effects.
