Honesty thread reply- I like the color combo...maybe sponging some brown ink on the yellow strip...and I would agree a background stamp would be perfect!

brutal honesty... ok, I love this card. My only thought would be to use barely banana instead of such a bright yellow. I really love the layout and elegance of this card, though!
I like it - especially the colors. I wish I could see it with a BG stamp so I could see how that would pop it.... hmmm my suggestion would be add some yellow sponging to the edges of the brown cardstock. (not even sure if that would show up)

honesty thread: I think it's cool! The way I would change it would be to add a background stamp and instead of the yellow image being centered I would put it towards the right edge of the card.

honesty thread reply...love the flower! I like the bright yellow with choc chip. I'd also use a bg stamp in ch chip so it's subtle. I think I might also move the yellow strip to the left a little and put the ribbon kitty-corner on the lower right.

honesty: The background needs a little something -- maybe a background stamp in a lighter craft ink (or popin-pastels if you don't have craft ink). I might even make the yellow middle piece a little shorter (b/n the flower and quote).

Love the colors, design and layout! I agree a background stamp or some other "texture" would give it that extra "something." If you like the high energy color combination, keep the yellow as-is! If you'd like something more subtle, try the earlier suggestions of distressing the yellow or using Barely Banana.
