Journalling: From the day I opened my Christmas gift from Eric and discovered a live chicken, Mr. Chicken has been a special part of our family. She would wander around our property, sleep on the deck in the sunshine, lay eggs wherever she pleased - at first we didn't think she was laying eggs until we found 16 of them under a bush in her secret spot! Many chicken have come and gone around here, but there was only 1 Mr. Chicken!
(Feb. 28th: Died at the claws of a nasty, hungry raccoon.)

Poor Mr Chicken! A great page worthy of a great hen. Love the colours of this one- you've matched it with Mr Chicken!

great colors and photos! How hilarous that you got a chicken for Christmas from DH!!! I totally didn't expect to read that Mr. Chicken would die at the claws of a racoon! how sad! great job with the sketch challenge. TFS
