This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE - Groovy White Sands combined with Julee's MOJO MONDAY - Sketch. I have been blogging more lately and finding some really kewl challenges out there. Thank you ladies for the continued inspiration. This color combo was definitely a CHALLENGE to use. I began with a white card base sponge distressed with guava ink, Ginger Blossom designer paper, Sahara sand and groovy guava stamped with polka dot background stamp in their respective colors. The sahara layer was punched with Fiskars scallops with holes border punch. My focal image was stamped in black stazon then colored with prismacolor pencils, blended with gamsol stickles to the center, sponge distressed with guava, cut out with Fiskars circle template and matted on Guava punched with mega scallop circles. I used my white jel pen to put dots in the scallops. This is popped up. The very top is a ric rac ribbon clear acrylic stamp I had forgotten all about and never used. sad isn't it :( It is stamped on white with guava, cut out and adhered. The sentiment is also a clear acrylic stamp I got in the dollar bin at Michaels never used.
