I used the rain boot stamp with versamark on DP and then embossed the image. I then took the black marker and went over the image to fill in the lines. I wiped the extra ink off and I had a great outlined pair of DP boots! I got that idea from someone on here, but I can't remember who. Anyway, it allowed me to use this otherwise solid stamp as paper piecing!
I usually play it safe and don't add black as an accent color to otherwise pastel-y colors, but I am happy with how it turned out!
I also kept adding elements to this - the embossing on the pink piece and the stamping on the celery piece. I figured out sometimes more is better!
I wanted to make this for a thank you swap, but I am afraid I would miss the deadline - so I will be on the lookout for another thank you swap so I can make more of these!
