Having got my desk tidy, I felt I had time to do this.
Mind you, I failed my multi-tasking. DH decided my day off was a good day to invite a friend for dinner, but I burnt the peanuts for the sauce while I was trying to get everything tidy!
The background paper on the card blank is from Clairefontaine Papers of the World. The paper for the Blintz topper is Cosmo Cricket Honey Pie, Clementine.
I stamped it with En Francais in Colorbox Pigment Aqua, on the plain side of it.
I used little flower snaps to hold the flaps down.
The flowers were punched from some Polished Stone card I made for one of the challenges last week - but I still haven't finished that card yet. I stamped the butterfly from Just Celebrate twice onto pink card using the Aqua ink. I cut the right-hand set of wings out, and glued them to the first image at the body, and raised them up on foam at the edges. I used a little Kaiser pearl for the head, and highlighted the wings with a clear Sakura Stardust pen. I sponged the edges with ColorBox chalk Pink Pastel before sticking it into the topper.
The little punched flowers have pink Liquid Pearls in the centre.

Friends are like the walls of a house. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes you lean on them. But sometimes, it's enough to know they're just standing by.
