Hi! This card was made for today's Technique Lovers Challenge: Blintz Base. It is a type of Oragami....Directions can be found here: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
I, of course had LOTS of help this morning from Speedy the Cat...He had dragged my gold foil pen and some Treehouse Stamps under the bath mat...I thought, and I thought...And Speedy the Cat hissed at the punches on my wall....and Viola! My punch out Oriental Lady appeared! *I designed her about 6 years ago!
I started off with a 6"x6" inch sheet of double sided paper and folded in the sides. I embossed the fern in gold around the inside flaps and then added the black mats to the folds.
I traced the edges with Gold Foil pen! GREAT idea, Speedy the Cat!!! The outfit was designer paper that I embossed with the fern in gold.
The outside red mat edge is embossed in gold!!!
The lady is punched with 1 3/8", 1 1/4" and 1/2" circles, and 1 1/4" and 1 38" squares!

Dots or no dots, BEAUTIFUL is BEAUTIFUL. Love all the papers and colors you've used to carry the oriental theme and who could not mention your wonderfully creative Asian girl punch out. WOW.

Faith, this one is going into my favorites. I love her little fringe haircut. I am going to have to case this card. My sister's husband is from Japan and I think she would love a card like this. Great job.
