I was jumping up and down and clapping my hands with joy with I retrieved my mail from my mailbox, yesterday. My Big Sis had mailed what looked like my reveal package!! Gleefully, I ran to get my Xacto knife to rip open the mystery box and as I tore out the packing paper, I jumped again with delight! Squealing...I removed each item and carefully inpected it, treasuring each beautiful gift item in my hand and pondering how generous my Big Sis was, at the same time, experiencing feelings of sadness that my very first DSS round had come to an end...But, on to my loot!
BTW, Big Sis is Linda Anderson (Studbo) and what a faithful, and I mean faithful, sweet, giving Big Sis she has been. She has made my very first experience with DSS ...pure pleasure. Thank you, Linda for all that you are and I hope that we continue to stay in touch. Your friendship has been a very precious one to me these last 3 months..
Okay...now, the loot...and I mean, loot!
First, Linda sent me a beautiful "reveal, introduction" card, adorned with a beautifu stamped floral image with "Dreams" as the sentiment. As all Linda's cards are, it was beautiful. Also Included in my gift box:
A large bag of Milky Way mini bars which I tore into right away...I didn't want to photograph a ripped open bag and look bad ; ) ... but they were there, I tell ya...honest!
An envelope of 3 beautiful Christmas Cards that Linda made at her "Christmas in July" stamp camp...thank you for the lovely cards...I will enjoy looking at them for a long, long time.
2 long cardboard panels full of 14, yes 14 fibers and adornament type cording/twine...they are all in blue hues (blue is one of my favorite colors) and are a wonderful mix of embellishments...thanks for the awesome collection!
7 spools of ribbon...and did I say, "I LOVE RIBBON!" Thanks for adding to my stash!! LOL
