HereÂ’s my sample card for TaylorÂ’s cupcake challenge. We all love her cupcake challenges, donÂ’t we?! I do!
My friend Janette (blessingsx3) stamped some of these great Whipper Snapper images for me, and the fun brads are from my friend Janice (catcrazy). Thanks girls!
I colored the image with prisma pencils (blended with gamsol and stumps). The halo effect was done with my Warm Grey #3 Copic marker, and the highlights on the mouseÂ’s hat and apron were done with my Warm Grey #1 Copic marker. I cut out the main image with my Fiskars paper cutter, just to the cupcake at the top and then hand cut around it with a pair of scissors. The base panel was faux stitched with my mat pack and a Close to Cocoa marker.
I like to finish the inside of my cards for a little some extra. I cut a piece of white CS to 4” x 5.25”, stamped three cupcakes from SU’s Short & Sweet set along the bottom (one on the left, one centered, and one on the right), and then paper pierced in between each cupcake with my piercing tool and mat pack. Each cupcake on the inside of the card was also colored with prisma pencils and blended with gamsol.
Thanks for letting me play in your challenge, Taylor!

Super cute Denise!! I LOVE those brads and is that wide, sheet polka dot ribbon?? Please PM me with where you found it. I also love this image ... I snagged some of these from Janette myself.
