Currently I am using photo boxes to hold my stamps that are in CD cases. We are going to build a new home and I have to decide how I am going to store them in my new space so didn't want to spend a lot because I will probably have something built in.
I have just finished unmounting my stamp sets, 325 Stampin Up sets and I have quite a few clear sets, a few TAC and others. Most clear sets are one set per CD case but the Studio G $1 stamps are 4 sets per case. All but 3 Stampin Up sets fit into one CD case. I did not unmount the background stamps nor the individual wood mounted stamps. I have the individual ones in Iris cases (12x12) and 2 or 3 layers per case. This system is currently working so I haven't decided if I will unmount those.
Every stamp that I own is either stamped or a copy of the index sheet copied, numbered and cross referenced. I separated the stamps into categories and the index is also devided into categories.
I also rearranged my room.

What a goldmine!! Hey, we are building a new home too!! Ours won't be ready until Nov. I've been looking at the wonderful ideas here to use in my new craft/rubber room! Your photos are a great inspiration!

Hi :-)
I'm very interested in how to store stamp sets. I saw this post and I do agree that unmounted stamp sets takes up less room, but please educate me...if the stamp is unmounted, just the rubber part, how do you stamp with it when you want to make a quick card?
