I'm trying a double doozie for a couple of today's DD08 challenges.
I stamped the image 5 times onto watercolor paper, twice in old olive, twice in tangerine tango, and once in kiwi kiss. I used a blender pen to soften the colors and add a bit of dimension (watercolor!). I then cut out each petal and leaf, the center and the stem and ran the edge of each piece over the stamp pad to darken the edge. When I put them back together, I was a little frustrated that it didn't go back together perfectly (see the far right leaf) but I'm pleased with it.
I simply layered it onto whisper white with a kiwi kiss frame. I considered embelishement (ribbon? brads/eyelets? corner punch? anything?!?) but in the end decided that the flower could stand on its own.
thanks for looking!

This is beautiful, I really love the Kiwi Kiss frame as it makes the image POP!! I'm glad you left the flower to stand on its own, it deserves all the attention! TFS! :-)
