We were invited to a baby shower for friends and I have really liked the idea of doing the "firsts" for baby. First Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc. I used iron-on transfers and my Copics. I really like the way they came out.
Included in their basket were holiday firsts - Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's (not stamped - printed clip art image as I didn't have anything non-worded), Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Easter and 4th of July.
I had extra onesies left over and had wanted to include a few burp cloths (cloth diapers), so I stamped them with animals. The theme in the nursery is elephants, so I had to include an elephant, but an elephant needs friends, right?
I also used Nichole's idea for a "first" scrapbook, found here http://nicholeheady.typepad.com/capt...2007/11/2.html. I did mine in an 8x8 album, so I used Microsoft Word & the calendar wizard. My DH was kind enough to play with it to get it to the right size.
I was really happy with how the onesies came out and I hope they enjoy them. My personal favorite is the giraffe - it was my first time stamping it and I LOVE that little guy.
Thanks for looking!
