While I was thinking about this week's PTI mid week challenge (part of which was to use a set you hadn't used in a long time), I thought about Out on a Limb. A friend of mine and her husband tried to get pregnant for 5 years and finally decided to go the adoption route. They adopted a beautiful baby girl who was born in January. Well, just a couple of weeks after they brought her home, they found out they were pregnant. Her second daughter was born last week- just 7 months after her big sister! I knew I needed to make her a card and suddenly I though of a button tree. I'm probably not the first to do this with the tree branch, but I was pretty excited. I used Berry Sorbet ink and cardstock. Buttons are brads by Making Memories and of course, my handy-dandy large rectangle nesties. The ribbon is white with white polka dots. The tag uses two different sets- "baby" is from Mixed Messages and "girl" is from Limitless Labels. Photographing white cards is hard so you'll have to trust me this is much better looking IRL.
