I managed a little time while the DD was napping this afternoon to make this card. It is for the Sketch Challenge and the technique challenge. This week's technique was to use the grid technique.
I stamped PTI's Polka Dot basics in White on the Certainly Celery layer then I made my grid on a diagonal. I went back and stamped the smallest polka dot from Polka Dot basics in Rose Red at the intersection of each set of lines. Getting the grid spaced evenly using my Fiskars Cutter to score the lines was a challenge. I really need a Scor-Pal!
I paper pieced the cupcake liner to match the background, "iced" the cupcake with Liquid Pearls and sprinkled it with glitter and beads. The cherry was in a bag of buttons I purchased at Archivers.
TFL!

Wow... that cupcake looks good enough to eat... great job with the paper piecing, like the liquid pearl icing and the cherry on top. Awesome job with the grid panel, like the white and little red dots, doodling, colours and the plaid ribbon. tfs
