One more easy technique for creating a faux airbrushed look:
If you enjoyed Monday's post, I'm hoping you will like the follow-up! I wanted to try one more technique for creating that silhoutte outline (is that redundant?). So, with the same colors, I grabbed my sponges and inked up!
The first few steps are definitely the same, I stamped the bird once on the cardstock in a light color (I used Creamy Caramel). Then stamped on onto cardstock and cut out (you'll see this one in the first photo, its in black). Apply repositionable glue, this becomes your mask! While the bird/mask is in place, I stamped with my background stamp En Francais with Mellow Moss ink. I then took my sponge to the ink pads and dabbed around the bird/mask, first in Really Rust, next is Not Quite Navy, followed by Night of Navy. Remove the mask when done, brush away any residual glue and embellish away!
