This is my second card for WT175 - Spice it Up.
It's a bit of a cheat because it's more or less a re-run of one I made for a challenge to use spices about 3 years ago, and which I had published.
But this one is brand new and my table is littered with bits of cinnamon stick and bay leaves to prove it.
I used a pre-cut 3-fold oval aperture card and printed the sentiment on the computer.
I sponged the middle layer where it shows with ColorBox Cocoa and Warm Green.
The plants have cinnamon stick stems, punched bay-leaf leaves and star aniseed flowers. I only got that aniseed last week, and even so it was hard to find 3 good shaped ones. The border is cloves. I cut the little hearts out of double-sided tape and dusted brown sugar over them. It may be 3 years ago but I remember the heartache they gave me last time. I tried Glossy Accents, and glue back then - and the sugar just dissolved into a sticky runny mess.

How wonderful! Terrific answer to the challenge and a very clever design.
