On white cardstock, I made the grid and then rubbed blue ink all over. I doused it with clear EP and heat it with my heat gun. I did this about three times. I adhered it to my card and then added the patterned paper and ribbon.

Your grid is so awesome. I love what you did with the coloring! Your dp is such a beautifully matched paper for the grid. Kudos. this is really one truly spectacular card.
