It's another great sketch, Roxi, thank you! Well, here it my 20 hour card! What I wanted to do with this sketch came to me easily, but what I had to go through to bring this to the gallery is an hours long story! I could not find my Crafty Secrets sewing set. I went through every nook and cranny, box and tray looking for it. I even got back up (a crazy person) after DH was dreaming looking for it until 2am. No set to be found. Woke up this morning and tried to make something else work, went through everything I went through above ALL OVER AGAIN...and after that, I
realized I had 'cleaned' up my stamping counter last weekend clearing off various papers SO I wondered if the set was in the recycle (50gallon toter). Yes, I did go out and rummage through all the reycycled bits and pieces and yes, in almost the bottom was the set. EUREKA, I found it.
Now that said, here's my card! Basic Grey Stella Ruby. unknown black cs and base of GP white. I stamped my scissors in VeraMark and embossed in super fine silver, cut and popped. The zippered is stamped in black and embossed in clear, trimmed close and cut for detail. The stool is stamped on patterend paper and the thread paper pieced from solid ruby color paper in group. The sentiment is inked with VersaMark black and embossed in clear directly to the paper. I used a ziz-zag faux stitch on the right sied. I cut flowers out from the botton mat and brought them into the smaller panels. There is a beautiful gingham ribbon with a picot edge that runs under the zipper.
I love that my young son watched me hunt and scratch and never give up until I found what I was looking for...I hope by my example he'll seek buried treasure! Thanks for hanging with me and always for your comments

Friends are like the walls of a house. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes you lean on them. But sometimes, it's enough to know they're just standing by.
