I totally cased this idea from cookiestamper a long time ago. I never had a reason to make one. But with my cousin-in-law going off to college in the fall, I thought it would be the perfect gift! Along with this (which is full of quarters), I bought her a pink laundry basket and hangers and a few white towels. It all looks so cute together! My husband always teases me about my "theme gifts" - but everyone always likes them!
To make one of these yourself, all you need is a M&M mini's container, some ribbon and a small sheet of paper to fit. It was so easy to put together! I wrapped the end product in clear packaging tape (I love that stuff!) to make it more laundry-durable. And to finish it off, I just used my mini hole punch and tied ribbon to it so she can wear it around her neck or use the strap to carry it.
Friends are like the walls of a house. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes you lean on them. But sometimes, it's enough to know they're just standing by.

Great idea. The ribbon is perfect! She can hang it from her book shelf, or closet hook . . . this would be perfect for my son. No excuse not to do laundry if your quarters are always right there!
That is aweseme idea. Not only is it practical, it is cute, AND it will remind her that when she is away from home that people care and are thinking about her.
