For the grid challenge, I remembered having this Paper Studio designer paper from Hobby Lobby that already had a grid pattern on it. I used a Scor-pal to make the grid at a diagonal, trying to match the angle of the patterned paper. Stamped the Sanded background in Sahara Sand ink over the grid, then the Fleur-di-lies in Basic Black.
The black and patterned paper panels are actually squares (5 1/2" x 5 1/2" and 5 1/4" x 5 1/4") cut in half on the diagonal. You get enough for two cards per square. A small part of the two points was trimmed off on each side to line up with the rectangular black panel underneath.
The square black brads echo the patterned paper. The center image is mounted on black and up on dimensionals. Thanks for looking!
