This is for today's technique challenge using a scored grid on the project we do. I don't have a scor-pal, so mine was done with my Fiskar's cutting tool. After scoring, I added linen bg image with So Saffron Ink. I tore a piece of scrap paper and laid it over the flannel bg inked with creamy caramel to give a ragged edge to the edges of the two color of ink.
The image is from Hedgehog Happiness, a long retired SU set that I will NEVER part with! It was stamped with black versafine ink and heat embossed with clear ep. Colored the image with SU markers.
The scalloped border around the image is a two sided sticker from doodlebug designs. Just picked these up from my LSS and this is my first time using them. They worked very well. I was able to add brown glitter as a border for my hedgie.
The sentiment is from stem silhouettes and the flourish is from priceless. The flower a silk flower from Hobby Lobby. I regularly buy stems and bushes of silk flowers just to tear them apart and use them on cards and sb pages. The edges are sponged with creamy brown chalk ink as are the cs edges. Used a button by Spare Parts for the center. Tied a 1/8" piece of ribbon through the button holes.
Flourish and sentiment are stamped in Versafine sepia ink.
Guess that just abut does it...what do ya think?

Your card is so cute! I love the way the flower on the left echos the flowers in the stamp set, and using the flourish for the stem...so sweet. Love it, love it!

What a beautiful card ... wow, there's a lot of work going on here! Love the 2-tone gridded B/G ... perfect! Love the hedgie ... the glittered scallop square is gorgeous, esp. the brown colour. And finally the flower ... I shall be looking at the artificial stems closer from now on! Gorgeous job.
