This is something I always looked forward to when I was a kid.....nice summer weather and my skates, so I went with this image. I learned to roller blade at the age of 40 believe it or not, but it seemed so easy after all my years of regular roller skating. But, who remembers the days of the skate key? On this card I used my new twinkling H20's on the image and around that and the sentiment. I cut 1/2 inche pieces of c/s and watercolor paper which was covered with my H20's and glued them to my card base. As always, thank you so much for looking.

Skating in the summer - what a great time (unless you lost your skate key). My friend and I would put our skates on, each grab one end of a broom handle, and her father would run down the street with it, with us hanging on for dear life. Great card, and thanks for the memories.

I always looked forward to skating as well, except I could never find the key! What a darling image and so beautifully created for this great summer memories card.
