Okay, Julia, promise you won't use MotherMark's buzzer card for my entry in the mini madness challenge today! My brain was still puzzling her unique sketch and I could not switch to miniME so quickly. I do promise I used mini brads and eyelets on my staircase!
I have been waiting for a long time to use this wonderful staircase from Michelle Ward's 'Entrance' set of unmounted images. I am passionate about anything structural and the graphic lines of this stairway is no exception. When I came across Martin Luthers Kings quote. "FAITH is taking the 1st step even when you don't see the whole staircase" I knew I had a winner. Today I combined the two with Best Creations double sided chandlier paper as my card base. I stamped the quote onto acetate with Stazon jet black, cut the classic tag template (MM), stapled on a bit of ribbon and tucked it on the stairs. I cut one medallion from the paper and UTEE'ed it for depth. The star of the card, those gorgeous stairs are inked with TH di walnut stain and embossed with clear. I fussy cut the rails. My mini elements are the black 'nail' head brads on the banister. I used staples to attach the stairs to my card (MM metal colors)
Life's full of Faith steps...no matter how old, whether a child just learning to walk or like my DMIL who is scootering for mobility now...we have to keep putting one foot in front of the other, don't you think?
Thanks for you comments and a special thanks to Julia for not hitting the buzzer on me!

Wow!!!! So profound!!!!! The sentiment and stairs.....great combo. I do not know which I am more in awe over......that you actually have a stairstep stamp.....or the fact that you cut out all those spindles!!!! Fabulously looking card with a meaningful message!!!! Great work, Susan!!!!!
