Pat Smethers sent me an envelope full of goodies a while back. In it were several embossed images of this guy and his partner who's riding herd on the steer. The conchos were mine and embossed with Ranger copper EP. Don't know what Pat used.
Well, this guy got drafted out in Van Horn, Texas, which is the only watering hole between Sonora and ElPaso. All he wanted was a shot of whiskey, then he was on his way. Howsomever, a band of outlaws were ravaging the neighborhood, and him being the big, strong, good lookin devil he is, he got drafted! They gave him a "tin star" but all they had to make the star was copper. He wore it proud. The town didn't know that he failed Knots 101 back in Austin at UT, and didn't know how to make a hangman's noose. But there was no problem. He has 'em right where he wants 'em, 'neath his boots on the ground.
That's my story, Cindy (Mothermark) and I'm stickin' to it.

Holy Cow! Don't know if I like the story or the noose better! Sistah, I may be the KOTM ('Keeper of the Man', according to Joan) but you are becoming the master! He is beautiful in this layout! How can you go wrong? BEAUTIFUL!
