This card is for the July Ambassador Challenge # 2 over at the MFT forum.
Requirements for the card is piercing. Scalloped ovals were pierced.
This card was done using the set Bug's Life. Image was stamped on white cardstock in Oynx Black Versafine and colored with various Tombow markers. Bugs were masked before working on the background. Bottom portion of the image was stippled with Creamy Brown and stamped with Itty Bitty backgrounds from Stampin Up. Sky was sponged in Sky Blue and clouds were done by heavy sponging around an oval scallop. The main image was then cut into an oval shape using a coluzzle. Used 2 oval scalloped nestabilities to cut the layers which were heavily sponged in Certainly Celery, Aqua and Sky Blue. Brown oval also cut using the coluzzle. Each of the layers were then pierced all over. Used a sentiment from the same Bug's Life collection - What's the Buzz which was stamped in Vintage Sepia Versafine on an oval Sweet Chips Chipboard from Crafty Secrets. Chipboard was also sponged in Aqua and Sky Blue on the border. Background paper is from Cosmo Cricket - Fleuriste. Used a Thin Cuts photo corner die cut for the 2 corners and finished off the card with Dashes, Dots & Checks ribbon from Michaels.

Marisa, this is so well done and I really don't care that much for Bug's Life. I love the color combo and all the scallops. Your coloring is so superb that it really makes those bugs look GREAT. I also like the balance of the softer sentiment.
